Fabricated using the sophisticated Graal method of glass making, it is a rare model. Excellent condition. In the latter part of the 1970's the Graal technique enjoyed a new popularity. Eva Englund joined Orrefors and was trained in the technique by Edward Hald. Eva brought a new concept to art glass by incorporating her dreams into the images captured in the glass forms.

28cm hög. Rare, early Eva Englund vase from her days at Pukeberg prior to joining Orrefors. The piece dates from 1966, is very large and in exceptional condition. The artist Simon Gate was hired in 1916, and in 1917 another painter, Edward Hald, who had trained with Matisse Orrefors Glass: Graal plate by Eva Englund , Eva Englund Graal bowl with brown and green glass on a black base.
